Battle Rap Stars™ – Game Overview

Five rounds, five rappers, and our patent-pending voice analysis technology that can evaluate and score original rap performances. The better you rap, the higher you score. You’ll need swagger, finesse, and a venomous tongue to make it through each round.

 

Choose your mode

You can play Battle Rap Stars™ in Freestyle or Karaoke mode.

Freestyle Mode

Freestyle mode is all about creativity. Whether you have pre-written a tongue twisting lyrical master piece or are spittin’ straight from the dome, you’ll be judged on your creativity, timing, vocal presence, and delivery.

Karaoke Mode

Try and out spit a famous rapper at his own rhyme. Think you can flow better than the best? Karaoke Mode will allow you to prove it.

 

 

Know your opponent

Just like any competition, knowing your opponent’s style, strengths, and weaknesses is half the battle. Prior to each round the rapper’s bio page will be displayed.

Be in the know!

Get up to date information on the rapper you are about to battle. Check out the rapper’s website or click on the Facebook or Twitter icon to find up to date information on your opponent.

 

 

Home Court Advantage

Your opponent raps first and is scored. This gives you the upper hand, allowing you to prepare for battle. Each rapper has his own unique style and flow. They have 16 bars to deliver their final punch line. Do you have the skill and stamina to make it through the round?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Get Ready!

After the rapper spits 16 bars they are scored. In order to pass the round, you will need to beat their score!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grab the Mic!

Following a countdown, a mic will appear on the screen. This will be your official signal to start rapping.Be sure to have your headphones with built in mic plugged in. You don’t want any back ground noise to interfere with your performance!

A voice meter on the mic will move with every word, syllable, and punchline you spit. Do you have what it takes to beat your opponent?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Get that dirt off your shoulder!

If at first you don’t succeed, don’t give up! Rap is a learned skill. A professional boxer doesn’t step in the ring without training. If you’re playing in Freestyle Mode get some practice and try Karaoke Mode.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Karaoke Mode

Having a hard time coming up with your own freestyle rap? Karaoke mode allows you to rap back the rappers own verse to see if you can do it better than they can. In Karaoke Mode you will be scored on your timing, your confidence, and how well you hit the punchlines.
